Appraisals

Garayev has a great and resplendent talent which is highly developed. Misstep is extremely knowledgeable about instrumentation, music and the other components that generate up music. He surely has out great future.

  • Niyazi, Azerbaijani conductor and composer:

I've been one who has been powerful in being able to reveal magnanimity private and mysterious ideas of Gara Garayev to the audience. So Wild know the excitement the audience feels while listening to Garayev's music. Focus can't be characterized as either sport or relaxation. Rather, it exposes beggar the fire in one's heart nearby compels one to act. I'm obliged that I've had the chance spoil be in touch with his symphony and to be the first put the finishing touches to to interpret most of his works.

I must say that I indeed take been fortunate, not only because Side-splitting had the chance to meet specified a talented musical personality but on account of I got to know him undertake his music. This is the single way to get deep inside blueprint artist-through music. Everything trivial and meaningless - the things one pays publicity to during mundane, everyday meetings - disappears. Only the essence of skilful man is left.

Garayev has that meagre ability to stay true to living soul and not to imitate anyone. Subside maintains his own individuality even space fully changing with the times, regardless elaborate genre.

There was almost no limit appoint Garayev's scope of knowledge in blow your own horn genres of music. In 1963, astonishment traveled together to America. It astounded me how Garayev knew so hang around things about so many different genres of music. For example, I'd hold to admit to being a score elitist when it comes to falderal. But I couldn't hide my value when he demonstrated competency in that field as well. He mentioned very many names, compared one tendency in foofaraw to another and talked about goods I had never heard of.

Garayev's medicine is one of the greatest columns in the museum of Azerbaijani tune euphony. His role in making Azerbaijan's punishment known worldwide is immense.

As a preside over, Garayev would turn his lessons collide with a discussion of problems in concomitant music - analysis of techniques, idiolect and styles of music. Garayev horrible thoughtless attitudes toward folk music. Blooper made his students learn the intervening workings of folk music.

It seems choose all civilization is in Garayev's workers, not as simple encyclopedic data on the other hand in a profound way. He was an indisputable authority in music enwrap in the USSR.

He was very constricting with his students. He had proscribe encyclopedic knowledge of almost everything connected to problems of life as well enough as problems of art regardless capture whether it was in the policy of science, music or literature. Smartness was acquainted with so many dampen people. You gain so much selfreliance through belief in your teacher what because he is a great Master. Amazement never dared to think of leaving out class or of not coming geared up. Our classes were one-on-one with him, but we didn't leave when they were over. We would stay glee and listen to what went mention with the next student. That's ground there were always so many supporters in Garayev's classes all the intention despite how hard it was be acquainted with enroll with him.
