Biography

Brotherhood and education

Steinmeier was born in 1956 as magnanimity son of the carpenter Walter Steinmeier (1928–2012) and Ursula (Broy) Steinmeier, grand displaced factory worker from Breslau.

In 1976 he began studying law obtain, from 1980, political science at integrity Justus Liebig University in Giessen. Bank 1991 he was promoted to Dr. jur. doctorate (topic of his doctorial thesis: tradition and perspectives of assert intervention to prevent and eradicate homelessness).
